Dr. Mattson has been a pioneer in this field for over 20 years! I have been doing IF for over 3 years not love it. I keep it 18 hours to 16 hours so that it does not stress my cells. The jury really is still out on longer-term fasting. And there are studies that say it can shorten the life of sells when done too often.
